Life is busy, so blogging is neglected.
OK, so it has been a very busy 2010 so far and i am way behind in my blogging. So i am going to try and say a few things about what has happened so far and post a few pics to try and catch everything up to date. I just put pics of Landon's wrestling camp experience on here, then there was a Monster truck show, Upwards basketball awards, school field trip, Easter and spring break trips and so much other fun stuff to bring you up to speed on. Hope you enjoy the pics.

Wrestling Camp 2009-2010
Back to school & Upwards begins ..
So school has started back up and so has our busy, crazy, calendar schedule. The kids had there first upwards basket ball game on Saturday. So that was exciting. This is Landon's first year and Ariel's second. It was so cute and funny to watch the kindergartens play ball. There was double dribbling, there was traveling, it was just to cute. All they knew is they needed to get the ball and shoot it into the net. To cute. Landon did make a basket. Which he was excited about. After it went in he looked over at us, all smiles to make sure we had seen it.
Ariel's team was suppose to have practice on Thursday. But it was cancelled because of weather. So she met her coaches and team mates right before there game on Saturday. James said she did a good job. I was not there, i took the boys to bowling, while he took her to her game. You know part of the busy, crazy, calendar schedule. He said that she is improving and played great. Which is good because it is only the beginning of the season. She enjoys playing too. We are very proud of the two of them in anything they do. Of course we are proud of Mr. Zane too. He has bowled the last 2 Saturday's after not wanting to bowl. At the beginning of the season he wanted to bowl, but then he would not finish a game. So we told him no more. He never asked to bowl again either. But it's a new year and he said he wanted to bowl. So we are just taking it week by week.

The New Year 2010
Wow, it is here already 2010.
K.C.'s have gone, like i have mention in my earlier post and we are kind of lazing around the house. So I called some friends to see if they would like to go to the Fire and Ice Festival up town. To see ice carvings and such, then come over for awhile afterwards. So that is what we did and we froze it was so cold. But we had a good time.

Then the rest of kids Christmas break we spent around the house playing games and watching movies. We did go with one of my friends and her two boys, Sat. afternoon to see Alvin the Chipmunk's: The Squeakquel. It was Zane's first movie theater experience and he sat through it and enjoyed it. So that was a first mile stone for the new year.
But otherwise we just went to Church or stayed home. It was really nice.
As i look back at my Christmas Break Day 1 post. I said that i might be pulling out my hair by the end and begging to go back to crossing the kids. But alas i did not want too. I thought break had wentby to quickly and i did not get to spend enough time with just my kids. But oh well, i think we still have playing Christmas Break this week, because they have not went to bed at there normal time yet. But come tomorrow it is back to 8 o'clock.
I did forgot to mention that on New Years Eve Ariel got her new glasses. Which i will have to take a picture and post it on here for everyone to see. She is getting adjusted to them now. For a little while the first day she said she did not like them. The mean mom that i am said" tough your stuck with them". She picked them out and they were not my first choice, but she does look cute in them. Now she is fine with the glasses and really likes them.
The K.C Nissley's & New Years Eve...
OK, so as i said before the K.C, Nissley's (that is what we call them) came on Monday, they did not get here till evening. So that night was spent catching up with our crazy lives over pancakes and lots and lots of bacon. Our families love our bacon.lol
But that was just the beginning of a fun filled, late nights, week. I don't think there was a dull moment in the house.
Tuesday we all went sledding at Ox Bow Park(o.k. all but Adam and Alex). We had a blast there. Allison kept going into the trees. I think she is just drawn to them, no matter where she put that sled she was in the trees.lol Except the time she took out two girls, with one of them landing in her lap.Which waswould have made a great video candidate for Funniest Home video's. Everyone was laughing including the girls she took out. But now that i think about it, she was still heading for the trees. Sorry Allison, Love ya:) Ok, well, Umm yeah, "Courtney got a B".
But it was a great day for sledding, it was nice and sunny out so it did notfeel that cold. Here are a few pics. of our fun.

Nelson wanted Andy to take him down. So he could get pics from the bottom. I covered the top of the hill.

Sonja & Toby. Then we have Girl Power going on in that sled.

So later that night, the K.C. kids watched our kids. O.K. Allison watched our kids, so that us adults could go out for an evening. We ate at Chili's. It is so yummy. You know what makes it even yummier? Is NO kids and when your in laws treat you. Thank you guys soo much we really enjoyed ourselves.
Wednesday? They visited Aunt Katie and Uncle Lloyd. Then we had visitor's that evening. Family members that could not make it the next day( New Years Eve) to see them stopped by that night. Which was great. I love having guest. We always had a full house, even if it was just our two families. There were eleven of us and one bathroom. There were 7 kids, ranging in ages from 3 years old to 16 years old. We wont put the adults ages in here. Then i know later in the night we went to walmart, but we just spent time talking and playing games about everyday and night.
So that brings us to Thursday New Years Eve. Which was a bittersweet day. Because it was our last full day with the K.C. Nissley's:( They were leaving on Friday to go back.
Their family ,James & our kids went out to visit Uncle Mel and Aunt Vera at the farm. While i stayed home to get things ready for that evenings festivities.
So later on family members came over and we played numerous and hiliarious games. We laughed and talked with everyone. I drank way to much caffeinated coffee and was up way to late, after everyone else was asleep. But we had fun ringing in the New Year. So wow that was the last of 2009.
So that brings us to Friday. We had to start the year off with a bummer, they were going home. I don't remember what time they left, but all i do remember is i had a lot of food left in the Frig and not enough people to eat it and the house was very quite. Too quite. Some of you would relish the quietness, but not me. I missed the Laughter and talking and everything. I missed them. We love you guys and miss you and hope sometime to see you in the big K.C.
The In Between Days...
So these are a recap of the days in between my dad and Julie leaving on Saturday morning and us getting are other house guest. Nelson & Sonja, (my brother in law& sister in law) and family from Kansas City, Missouri.
So we just hung out on Sat. got the house straightened up and got prepared for a fun week with family. Which we had not seen for a couple years. Except on face book:)
I did hit a few after Christmas sales, to get me a good pair of boots to wear to cross the kiddo's in this weather we have here in Indiana.
But really we just rested up and the kids played . Little did we know we would really need that rest. We were all up at least till midnight every night they were here. Which was awesome. But more about that in my next blog.
